Our Beginning

R.G. Hawkes Trucking was founded in 1975 in Litchfield, Michigan.  We expanded to Tekonsha, Michigan in the early 1990s.  Our dedication to meeting customer needs with 24-hour availability and providing unparalleled customer service has been instrumental to our success over the years. We have a proud history of sponsoring and supporting worthy charitable causes.  We provide annual sponsorships and donations to many local sports teams, schools and 4-H chapters.  We support local churches and contribute to many of their annual events.  As proud veterans, we also provide annual support to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) foundation and other charities that help wounded or disenfranchised veterans. We provide annual support to the Salvation Army, St Jude and many other programs that aid the sick and needy.  Every fall we host a Toys for Tots donation drive for the local community.  Giving back to our community is a principal tenet of our operations.  It always has been and always will be.
